Based in the heart of Paris, Maratier is specialised in weapons and outfits rental. It is the real reference in French and European movie industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our company offers a customized customer service, with a stock of 15000 weapons, covering all eras, which combines Roman and medieval weapons, swords of the Renaissance, muskets of Napoleon and modern assault rifles.<\/span><\/p>\n

Police, army and special forces outfits from several countries, enable us to answer to many requests.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Une histoire de plus de 50 ans<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

  • Jean-Charles Maratier has started his carrer in movie industry in 1968, by renting vintage vehicles. He created the company in 1974, continuing to rend vintage vehicles and started the outfits\/costumes rental activity.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • In 1980 the vehicles have been stood aside for outfits, the armoury is crated, and the company relocated\u00a0 rue du Plateauin the north of Paris.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • \u00a0In 1987 Jean-Charles Maratier named his son Christophe Maratier, Head of development of the armoury<\/span><\/li>\n
  • In 1991, the needed more space for stock, so they moved to La Courneuve. From 1992, complimentary activities are developed there : creation and restoration of ancient weapons, outfits and accessories..<\/span><\/li>\n
  • In 2020 JMC TEAM company, was created by Christophe MARATIER and Jean Michel Chapelain, to take care of outfits, so that it can focus on armoury. JMC Team takes care of production, training team with outfits, taking action on set, as elite troops like RAID, GIGN and special forces from several army corps.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Based in new facilites, it\u2019s today a 15-person team, who are involved in movie industry, theater, audiovisual and special event.<\/span>
    \nOur company is developing constantly, and most of their clients are among the greater French and International professionals. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Our weapons are always modified to ensure actions and technicians security.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Dummy replicas are also at your disposal. Others can be reproduced in soft material for actors and action scenes.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Firing effects<\/h2>\n

    Shooting only blanks, our weapons replicate flames ejections, sound effects as real weapons will do. With special equipment, they can shoot without noise or flame, as required in specific scenes.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
